Recently, the price of Bitcoin soared to $100,000 once again. As of January 6th, MTT Sports has awarded a total of 14 Bitcoin in its ongoing tournaments.

MTT Sports is a cutting-edge esports platform focused on promoting the MTT project for inclusion in the Olympic Games. To support this vision, the platform is hosting a 100-week tournament series, offering 1 Bitcoin as a prize each week, with the total prize pool estimated at approximately $10 million. The tournaments are free to participate in, and players are not required to make any financial investment.

On January 6th, the 14th week of MTT Sports concluded successfully, with players from across the globe reaping significant rewards. After several days of fierce competition, Taiwan’s player “rainrain” claimed the championship, earning a prize of 0.35 Bitcoin (about $35,700). This marks the fifth Taiwanese player to win a championship since the tournament’s inception. Notably, Taiwan previously set a record with four consecutive victories in the event.

This week’s second and third place finishers were Thai players “SemiBluff” and “Sattha99,” who earned 0.2 Bitcoin and 0.1 Bitcoin, respectively. It’s worth noting that 20 players from Thailand shared in the Bitcoin prize pool, collectively earning 0.459 Bitcoin (approximately $46,800).

Additionally, players from Ecuador and the Seychelles, “SANTO” and “Sveta11,” finished in 29th and 35th place, respectively, becoming the first players from their countries to earn Bitcoin from the tournament.

As of January 6th, MTT Sports has distributed a total of 14 Bitcoin. Thai players have received 4.769 Bitcoin (approximately $486,000), with players from Taiwan and Russia following closely behind, winning 3.593 Bitcoin and 1.523 Bitcoin, respectively.

MTT Sports will continue to distribute an additional 86 Bitcoin throughout the tournament series, with all prizes being real and verifiable.
