JSW Energy said it has achieved a locked-in renewable energy generation capacity of 20 GW, having secured 445 MW of projects in the commercial and industrial segment.
The company’s locked-in C&I capacity stands at 3.1 GW, including 2,654 MW of JSW Group captive capacity and 445 MW of third-party C&I capacity. Currently, the company’s operational C&I capacity is 488 MW.
Recently, JSW Energy’s step-down subsidiaries executed power purchase agreements with DCM Shriram and Indus Towers for the supply of renewable power. These strategic partnerships underscored its commitment towards sustainable energy solutions, the company said.

JSW Energy said it aimed to achieve 10 GW of operational capacity by FY25 and currently has 7.7 GW of operational capacity spread across thermal, hydro, and renewable energy. The company also has 16.2 GWh of locked-in energy storage capacity through battery energy storage system and hydro pumped storage project.
The company aims to reach 20 GW of generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity before 2030.
