Mark Zuckerberg says Threads now has 100M daily active users

Meta’s X rival Threads is growing steadily with more than 100 million people using the service daily, the company’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg said Monday.

Zuckerberg also noted that Threads now has 300 million monthly active users, up from 275 million monthly active users in November.

While Meta has regularly released updated numbers about monthly active Threads users, this is the first time the company has revealed daily active user figures.

In the past month, the company has aggressively released stats and features as rival social network Bluesky, which has over 25 million users, gained traction. Last month, Adam Mosseri noted that Threads has constantly seen a million sign-ups per day for three months.

The company also released features like the ability for users to create custom feeds, its take on ‘starter packs’ to create lists for new users to follow, and a way to change your default feed.
