Namit Joshi, Director, Centrient Pharmaceuticals (Bain Capital company) has assumed charge as Chairman of Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council of India (Pharmexcil).

He was elevated to the present post after serving for two years as vice chairman, Pharmexcil.

In his current role as Commercial Director ofCentrient Pharmaceuticals (Bain Capital company), Joshi is managing rthe East region which includes Asia and Africa.

Joshi did his Masters in Organic Chemistry from Rohilkhand University, Bareilly followed by Post Graduate Diploma in International Business Strategy from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.

In his career spanning across last 30 years, Joshi worked in different facets of pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, biologics & biosimilars, retail pharmacies and healthcare media advocacy, according to a release.
