You can now download iOS 18.2.1 IPSW links and OTA update as well as iPadOS 18.2.1 for iPhone and iPad respectively.

This release comes about a month after the company released final versions of iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2.1 to public.

While iOS 18.2 brought us the second-wave of Apple Intelligence features like Visual Intelligence on iPhone 16 series, ChatGPT integration, Image Playground, Image Wand, Genmoji and more, the iOS 18.2.1 release on the other hand appears to be only a bug fix release.

According to Apple’s official changelog, “This update provides important bug fixes and is recommended for all users.”

To update to iOS 18.2.1, you can either update via OTA method by heading over to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device and grabbing the update from there.

Alternatively, you can download the IPSW file for your device from the links given below and then update to it via iTunes on Windows, or Finder on Mac.
