KEC International bags ₹1,136 crore orders across key infrastructure segments

Infrastructure EPC major KEC International has secured new orders worth ₹1,136 crore across its transmission and distribution, transportation, and oil and gas pipeline divisions, the company announced on January 8, 2025.

The shares of KEC International Limited were trading at ₹1,049.05 down by ₹78.05 or 6.92 per cent towards the closing bell.

The company’s transmission and distribution business won a 765 kV transmission line project from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). In the transportation sector, KEC received an order for the Train Collision Avoidance System under the ‘Kavach’ initiative. Additionally, the company secured a design, supply, and build order for pipeline and associated works from a public sector undertaking in India.

Managing Director and CEO Vimal Kejriwal noted that the PGCIL order will support green energy evacuation infrastructure. The company’s year-to-date order intake has reached ₹20,600 crore, marking an 80 per cent growth compared to the previous year.

KEC International, the flagship company of the RPG Group, currently operates in over 30 countries and has a presence in more than 110 countries through its EPC, tower supply, and cables businesses. The company specializes in various infrastructure segments including power transmission and distribution, civil works, transportation, renewables, oil and gas pipelines, and cables.
