Ajay Anand, Global Vice Chair of EY Global Delivery Services, said the company currently employs over 10,000 individuals in the State and intends to double this figure. Anand was here in connection with the opening of its latest office at Prestige Cyber Green as part of the expansion of EY GDS’s operations within the region. More than 7,000 employees are based in Kochi and approximately 3,000 in Thiruvananthapuram, he said.
Earlier, the State Industries Minister P Rajeev inaugurated the new facility and said that the expansion of EY GDS in Kochi reinforces Kerala’s position as a thriving hub for innovation and talent. The presence of EY GDS will drive job creation, foster skill development, and contribute significantly to the State’s digital transformation journey. “We look forward to a collaborative and fruitful partnership that will help drive Kerala’s economic growth and global reputation as a centre for excellence,” the Minister said.
According to Anand, the expansion is aimed at fostering innovation, creating new opportunities, and propelling sustainable growth. Kochi, with its dynamic business environment and skilled professionals, is an ideal backdrop for this growth chapter. “We are proud to further contribute to the State’s transformation into a global hub of excellence and to bolster our delivery of innovative solutions to EY clients around the world and help them shape the future with confidence,”
