Samsung Galaxy S25 leak points to it being all too familiar

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series launches in 12 days, and while we’re excited to learn about the device officially from the South Korean phone maker, leaks have been pouring in about the series.

According to Android Headlines, the S25 could measure 146.9 x 70.5 x 7.2mm and weigh 162g. It’ll have a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 2,340 x 1,080-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s worth noting that this is the base S25 variant. The base S25 is expected to sport 128GB to 512GB of storage, a 4,000mAh battery and 25W wired charging, as well as the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

There’s also a 50-megapixel primary shooter, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The front could sport a 12-megapixel camera with an f.2.2 aperture.

Next in line is the S25+, which measures 158.4 x 75.8 x 7.3mm and weighs 190g. It sports a flat 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a 3120 x 1440-pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It sports a Snapdragon 8 Elite and 12GB of RAM, starting at 256GB and 512GB of storage. It also has a 4,900mAh battery and 45W wired charging. Android Headlines says that the camera details are the same.

Lastly, the S25 Ultra is expected to measure 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2mm, weigh 218g, and sport a 6.9-inch flat display with a 3120 x 1440-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Storage variants include 256GB-1TB, a 5,000mAh battery, and support for 45W wired charging.

Battery-wise, we’re looking at a 200-megapixel primary shooter, 50-megapixel ultra-wide, 10-megapixel 3x optical zoom and 50-megapixel periscope shooter with 5x optical zoom. The front could have the same 12-megapixel cameras as the other S25 devices.

Unfortunately, we’ve seen much of this in the past from the S24 series and even the S23 devices. However other rumours point to Samsung using more AI features with the S25 series with it launching with an even smarter Bixby. However, only time will tell.

The Galaxy S25 series launches on January 22nd.
