The board of Morepen Laboratories has approved the hiving off the Medical Devices Business to Morepen Medtech Ltd, a subsidiary, on a ‘slump sale’ basis as a going concern. This hiving off is subject to the receipt of requisite regulatory approvals, including approval of the members of the company.
Electronic manufacturing services firm Optiemus Infracom’s arm will manufacture, sell and localise drones of Taiwan-based KunWay Technology, the company said in a regulatory filing. Optiemus Infracom’s wholly-owned subsidiary Optiemus Unmanned Systems Private Ltd (OUS) has partnered with KunWay Technology to manufacture their portfolio of drones in India.

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved Ashoka Buildcon’s proposal to acquire the remaining 34 per cent stake in Ashoka Concessions Ltd. The proposed combination relates to the acquisition of 34 per cent equity shareholding of Ashoka Concessions by Ashoka Buildcon and certain convertible instruments of ACL by ABL and Viva Highways, CCI said. Viva Highways is a subsidiary of Ashoka Buildcon.

HDFC Asset Management Company on Tuesday reported a 31 per cent jump in profit after tax (PAT) to ₹641.5 crore in three months ended December 2024. This was in comparison to ₹489.6 crore in the year-ago period, HDFC AMC said in a stock exchange filing. The company’s revenue from operations rose 39 per cent to ₹934.3 crore in the quarter under review from ₹671.3 crore in the third quarter December 31, 2023.

Indian Railway Finance Corporation has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) to finance ₹3,167 crore for the development of the Banhardih coal block in Latehar district, Jharkhand. Allcargo Gati has reported a total volume of 113 kilotonnes (kt) for December 2024, an 8 per cent year-on-year (YoY) growth, compared to 105kt in December 2023. The monthly volume also saw a 10.8 per cent increase from 102kt recorded in November 2024.
