Adani Green Energy shares surge 3% on boosting renewable capacity with 57.2 MW wind power

Shares of Adani Green Energy surged 3.64 per cent and was trading at ₹1,044.0 on the BSE at 10.30 AM on Wednesday as the company announced successful commissioning of a 57.2 MW wind power component within its flagship wind-solar hybrid plant located in Khavda, Gujarat.

This move strengthens AGEL’s position as a leading renewable energy player, increasing its total operational renewable generation capacity to a substantial 11,666.1 MW.

Further, power generation from the newly commissioned wind power plant commenced today.

Adani Green Energy Limited is a subsidiary of the Adani Group, AGEL is focused on developing, building, and operating utility-scale renewable power projects, including solar, wind, and hybrid power plants.

The stock hit a 52-week high of ₹2,173.65 on June 3, 2024 and reached a low of ₹870.90 on November 11, 2024 on the BSE.
