Persistent Systems launches AI-powered ContractAssIst in collaboration with Microsoft

Persistent Systems has launched ContractAssIst, an AI-powered contract management solution developed in collaboration with Microsoft. The solution aims to simplify contract workflows, enhance collaboration, and reduce operational complexity for enterprises.

Powered by Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Teams, and advanced AI technologies, ContractAssIst addresses the challenges enterprises face in tracking and managing large volumes of contracts. The solution leverages Azure AI for secure data handling and advanced search capabilities, while integration with Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams provides real-time collaboration and AI-enabled decision support.

ContractAssIst features AI-powered tools like a chatbot for conversational queries, real-time version tracking, contract comparison, instant notifications, and approval summaries, all consolidated within a centralized dashboard in Teams. The solution also employs advanced models such as GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 through Azure OpenAI Service for natural language contract analysis, while observability tools like Elastic and Application Insights ensure scalability and transparency.

Persistent highlighted that ContractAssIst sets itself apart from other contract management solutions with its deep integration with Microsoft technologies. It offers enterprises intelligent insights and auditable workflows to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.

Key benefits include a reduction of up to 95 per cent in email communication, time savings of 20-25 minutes per user daily, and significant cost savings through reduced annual licensing expenses.

Sandeep Kalra, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, Persistent said, “ At Persistent, our AI-led, platform-driven approach is central to solving complex enterprise challenges with practical, scalable solutions.
