Everest Group announces Jimit Arora as new CEO

Everest Group, a global research and analytics firm, has announced Jimit Arora, an alumnus of BITS Pilani, as its CEO.

Effective February 1, 2025, the leadership transition at the US-based research firm will see Peter Bendor-Samuel, the founder of Everest Group and its CEO since 1991, assume the role of Founder and Executive Chairman.

Jimit, who celebrates two decades at Everest Group this year, brings a wealth of leadership experience from within the firm, having most recently served as Managing Partner since January 2024.

In his role as Managing Partner, Jimit has spearheaded the firm’s enterprise services practice, guiding a team of analysts dedicated to addressing the needs of Fortune 500 companies and providing strategic direction to the world’s leading organisations.

Samuel will step back from the CEO role to focus on his responsibilities as Founder and Executive Chairman. He will continue to contribute to the firm’s strategic vision and evolution, but his primary focus will be on working closely with the firm’s clients to navigate the complexities of the global sourcing and technology landscape, as well as dedicating time to the ongoing development of Everest Group’s market-leading research and insights, says a statement.

Everest Group is a consulting and research firm focused on strategic IT, business services, and sourcing solutions.
