Muthoot Capital Services raises ₹98.75 crore via securitization

Muthoot Capital Services said it has completed a securitization transaction, raising an amount of ₹98.75 crore in 3 tranches, by assignment of loan receivables aggregating to ₹105.06 crore.

This is the fifth securitization/direct assignment transaction carried out by the company during FY 2024 – 2025.

The company, in an exchange filing, said the entire pool is from the non – priority sector and has been undertaken after considering the guidelines prescribed by the Reserve Bank of India in this regard.

Muthoot Capital Services’, which is promoted by the Muthoot Pappachan Group, is a Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) and its portfolio includes retail finance products such as two-wheeler loans, used car loans, commercial vehicle loans and investment product in the form of Fixed Deposits. As at December-end 2024, the NBFC had assets under management aggregating Rs ₹2833 crore.
