Symega Food Ingredients to enter Haryana; open new facility in Sonipat

Catering to the rising demand from North and East India, Symega Food Ingredients Ltd —one of the largest seasoning manufacturers in India —is all set to open a new manufacturing facility in Sonipat, Haryana.

The ₹20 crore facility, which is to be opened next week at the Rai Industrial Area, will be dedicated to providing taste solutions for snacks, noodles, breakfast mixes, and more, ensuring a wide range of applications, the company officials said.

Crucial role

With a strong and growing customer base in North and East India, the new facility is a strategic investment aimed at enhancing Symega’s customer reach and operational efficiency. This facility will play a crucial role in ensuring faster delivery timelines and optimising supply chain logistics for customers across the region.

The opening of this new facility would enable Symega’s customers reduced lead times for orders, ensuring faster access to fresh and high-quality seasonings. Enhanced production capacity will meet the evolving needs of food brands, manufacturers, and QSR chains in the region. A stronger presence in North India will facilitate deeper engagement with customers and better support for product development initiatives, officials said.

Santhosh Stephen, Managing Director, Symega Food Ingredients said they are aiming to enhance speed, flexibility and service excellence in delivering high-quality seasoning solutions by bringing production capabilities closer to customers.
