GameStop offering $30 discount on Dragon Age: The Veilguard

If you’ve been holding off on returning to Thedas, this might be the right time to make the jump.

From December 6th to 15th, BioWare Edmonton’s Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be on sale for $59.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, down from its regular $89.99 price tag. The action-RPG only just released on Halloween, so a $30 discount only five weeks later is particularly solid. It’s also the first brand-new single-player game from the beloved Canadian developer since 2014’s Dragon Age: Inquisition, so its release feels like something of an event.

The promotion is part of GameStop’s ‘Are you Yeti for the Holidays’ flyer, which you can view in full here. It’s worth noting, though, that most of the flyer’s other deals are just holdovers from Black Friday , including $25 off several Nintendo Switch exclusives and PlayStation 5 DualSense controllers.

One final thing to note: the federal government will be implementing a two-month tax break on a variety of goods, including video games, on December 14th. Therefore, you could wait until the last two days of GameStop’s Yeti-themed promotion to save a few extra dollars on Dragon Age, stock permitting.
