Axonator launches no-code platform to help businesses create custom apps

Axonator Inc., the developer of a platform that allows companies to build custom mobile applications for automating workflows, today announced it has launched what it calls aDIYplatform for nontechnical users to create apps.

The company said the no-code platform includes a user-friendly, intuitive drag-and-drop builder allowing businesses to create their own mobile apps, including dynamic checklists and internal workflows, in a matter of minutes. It is designed to be as accessible as possible, making application creation effortless by eliminating the need for coding knowledge.

“By removing complexity and increasing productivity, Axonator’s no-code platform allows organizations to build unique applications in no time, revolutionizing their operations, said Chief Executive Jayesh Kitukale.

Founded in 2011, Axonator already provides a powerful low-code platform that empowers businesses to create mobile forms, workflows, instant reports and analytics dashboards. It integrates with numerous third-party and legacy systems such as Salesforce Inc., Quickbooks and IBM Corp.’s Maximo for data management.

Numerous no-code app creation platforms already exist and the company will face stiff competition in the market. For example, the no-code mobile app builder startup Adalo Inc. and the startup Bubble Group Inc., which uses generative artificial intelligence to assist non-technical users when building apps.

Axonator said that it uses AI-driven capabilities in its visual designer as well to assist with building apps and workflows as well. The company also has years of experience helping small and large organizations with building mobile applications including IKEA, Bridgestone Corp. and Johns Hopkins University.

The company said the platform is suited for a wide range of business use cases including inventory management and field service management.

“With this platform, we are empowering businesses to streamline their operations and enhance efficiency without the need for technical expertise, said Kitukale. We believe this platform will have a significant impact on businesses.”

Kitukale has said in the past that Axonator’s vision is toban complex software from the face of the Earthand this principle has been the guiding star for providing a simple, understandable interface that anyone can use.
