The Ministry directed the State Government to ensure that no CMR of the current marketing season (2024-25) is delivered to the Central pool during the extended deadline to avoid overlapping of the two seasons.

The delivery of the consignments should conform to the specifications announced by the Ministry.

In a letter dated December 9, a top official of the Ministry directed the State to request the Civil Supplies Commissioner of Telangana to keep tabs on recycling rice (rechannelling PDS rice back into the CMR delivery).

It also wanted the officials to conduct age test to check against malpractices.
