Centre will support AP Govt’s development initiatives: PM Modi

The Centre will support all development initiatives being taken up by the NDA Government in Andhra Pradesh, said Prime Minister Naredra Modi.

Speaking after kicking off development projects with a total investment of ₹2.08 lakh crore in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday, he said the Centre would strive for fulfilling the aspirations of the state’s people for development. 

Andhra Pradesh would be a hub for development of IT and technology industries along with others, Modi said, adding that out of two Green Hydrogen hubs in the country one is being set up in Andhra Pradesh. With the Centre targeting to generate 5 million tonnes of Green Hydrogen by 2030, a significant number of people would get employment. 

The upcoming bulk drug park in Nakkapalli for which the foundation stone was laid on Wednesday , was one the three such parks in the country, Prime Minister said. 

Stating that the upcoming south coastal zone would also lead to further development of Andhra Pradesh, Modi said the modernisation of 70 railway stations was being taken up in Andhra Pradesh under the Amrit Bharat scheme.
