Online travel platform EaseMyTrip has named its co-founder Rikant Pittie as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 1, 2025. Pittie, who helped establish the company in 2008, will oversee strategic initiatives and innovation efforts at one of India’s major travel tech firms.
The shares of Easy Trip Planners Limited were trading at ₹15.77 down by ₹0.09 or 0.57 per cent on the NSE today at 12.20 pm.
With 16 years of industry experience, Pittie has played a key role in EaseMyTrip’s development into a comprehensive travel solutions provider. The company, which is listed on both NSE and BSE, has maintained profitability since its founding and achieved a 47 per cent CAGR in profits before tax during FY20-24.
Under Pittie’s previous leadership roles, EaseMyTrip has expanded its services to include air tickets, hotel bookings, holiday packages, and transportation services. The platform currently provides access to over 400 airlines and more than 2 million hotels globally.

Pittie brings significant recognition to his new role, having received multiple industry accolades. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the CII Delhi State Council for 2024-2025 and was recently named among IDFC FIRST Private & Hurun India’s Top 200 Self-Made Entrepreneurs of the Millennium 2024.
EaseMyTrip operates from multiple Indian cities including Noida, Delhi, Gurugram, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, with international offices across seven countries including the UAE, UK, and USA.
