Get ready for Auto Expo 2025 with 35 manufacturers showcasing cutting-edge vehicle technologies and future mobility trends

The highly anticipated Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2025, being organised under the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, has drawn maximum industry participation from the vehicle manufacturers, industry insiders told businessline.

Accordingly, 35 manufacturers have confirmed participation, marking a significant increase from the previous edition, which saw only 20 companies showcase their offerings.

The expo is scheduled to take place from January 17to22, 2025, at the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi and is being organised by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).

“With more participants, a wider array of technologies and a focus on the future of transport, the 2025 Auto Expo promises to be an event that will shape the direction of mobility in India and beyond for years to come,” a senior organiser told businessline.

It will showcase a broad range of vehicle technologies, from traditional internal combustion engines to state-of-the-art electric and hybrid powertrains.

Leading participants

Leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Hyundai Motor India and Kia Motors India, are expected to showcase their latest models and technological innovations.

The expo will also see international brands like BMW, Mercedes, Skoda and Porsche making their presence felt, along with electric vehicle (EV) pioneers such as Ather Energy, Ola Electric and Vinfast.

Several manufacturers are expected to create experience zones in the outdoor area also, offering visitors an immersive hands-on experience with their latest vehicles and technologies.

Visitors can expect to see thematic pavilions, which will delve into key areas of the future of mobility.

SIAM will organise separate pavilions focused on decarbonisation, circularity, electrification and road safety, underscoring the growing emphasis on sustainability in the automotive sector.

These pavillions will not only display innovations aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of the automotive industry but also provide insights into the circular economy and the future of safe, efficient transport.

Three venues

Moreover, the Auto Expo is just one element of the larger Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, an expansive event spread across three venues: Bharat Mandapam, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka and India Expo Mart in Greater Noida.

At Bharat Mandapam, attendees can explore the Auto Expo Motor Show 2025, the India International Tyre Show 2025, and the Bharat Battery Show, among others. The Steel Pavilion and Mobility Tech Pavilion will highlight advancements in materials and technology, while the India Cycle Show 2025 will showcase innovations in personal mobility.

At Yashobhoomi, the Auto Expo Components Show 2025 will run alongside the main motor show, offering a deep dive into the critical components that power modern vehicles.

Meanwhile, at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, the Bharat Construction Equipment Expo and the Urban Mobility & Infrastructure Show will emphasise the intersection of mobility with infrastructure development.
