GRAP stage IV measures came into effect in Delhi-NCR as AQI deteriorates

On December 16, the air quality panel in NCR invoked stage four of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) as the AQI breached the 400 mark.GRAP IV was previously implemented from November 15 to December 5 and the Supreme Court had allowed relaxations after air quality improved .Air quality is expected to be “very poor” to “severe.” The Supreme Court has ordered the closure of schools for grades VI-IX and XI. GRAP IV curbs state that NCR and Delhi to decide on 50% office staffing.
