Here’s how to track Santa’s journey in 2024

If you’re still doing some last-minute shopping for Christmas, you still have plenty of time. According to the official NORAD Santa Claus tracker, Santa just left China. If you real-time updates to make sure you’re in bed before he arrives, here’s how you can track Santa’s journey in 2024.

NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) has been the official Santa tracker for years. It not only shows a tiny Santa in his sleigh racing around the globe, it also updates how many gifts he’s delivered as he goes. As of the time of writing, he’s delivered more than 1.5 billion gifts. No wonder he needs those cookies.

Google is also offering a way to track Saint Nick this year. On top of a cute 2D animated version of his journey, Google gives an estimate of when he’ll arrive at your house. It also offers guides to many of the locations Kris Kringle is visiting. And if you scroll down, there are plenty of activities for kids, such as an Elf Maker minigame and a coding lab.
