make 1000 pounds fast, how to make 1000 pounds in a month, how to make an extra 1000 a month uk, how to make 1000 pounds fastCould you do with making a little extra cash? Of course, you could, everyone could!

The idea of extra money landing in your bank account is pretty exciting, and it’s something everyone would be happy to experience!

The good news is that there are many ways you can look into which will allow you to make 1000 pounds fast – yes, honestly. No scams, no underhanded tricks, nothing illegal – all completely above board and totally legal.

These methods can sometimes require a little work, in some cases they run themselves, therefore falling into the passive income bracket, or they simply require you to do something which you enjoy doing anyway.

Let’s be honest, who couldn’t do with an extra £1000? It’s a lot of money.

Some people don’t earn that amount from their monthly wage, so earning it on the side is certainly a huge advantage.

The thing is, most people don’t believe that it’s possible to make this much extra money on the side and as a result, they don’t try.

The old adage stands here – if you don’t try, you’ll never know!

Also, if you ask a regular person how much extra money they believe they could make from sideline endeavors, they’ll probably tell you something like £50 or maybe £100 at a push.

Sure, those are still good amounts to earn if you didn’t expect it, but there are ways you can push those amounts upwards – you just need to use a little creative thinking and perhaps invest a little energy.

If you want to learn how to make 1000 pounds in a month (of course you do), we’re going to talk about a few ways which could help you hit that high note.

You can try all the methods below if you want to, or you can simply try the few which call out to you.

Whichever option you go for, there’s money to be made!

Try Matched Betting

You’ll probably hear the word ‘betting’ and instantly assume it’s not for you.

Matched betting isn’t like regular gambling however, because there is NO risk of losing your money, and that’s because it’s actually NOT betting in fact.

The problem is that matched betting can appear a little confusing when you first try to do it, so it’s definitely advisable to spend some time really familiarising yourself with the ins and outs and how it works. By doing that, you have a far better chance of earning that extra cash you’re looking for.

When you bet in the regular way, you don’t receive all your winnings back because you need to pay the taxman a little of what you’ve won. That’s fair enough, but with matched better, 100% of your winnings are yours.

So, how does it work? Remember, it’s not complicated, we’ll try and break it down as simply as possible.

How does Matched Betting Work?

Basically, you would place a bet on a sporting event via a regular betting website, using the free bet that they offer you when you sign up. Most sites offer you this incentive, so be sure to look out for it.

I know very well that it works because my wife is making £300-£400/month from matched betting.

With matched betting you always win because you’ll get the free bet money as actual cash (minus fees).

When you place your first bet (using the free bet money which is typically around £10-£30), then head over to another betting site, known as a betting exchange site. You would then place a bet on the other outcome, e.g. if your first bet was for Manchester United to beat Manchester City, you would then go to the betting exchange site and bet for Manchester City to win instead.

This basically means that you’re using the free bet on the first site, and you’re using your own cash on the second exchange site.

However, that doesn’t matter because you’re going to win either way. Once the bets are settled, you’ll get back the free bet money as actual cash (for example, £30 bonus).

In a nutshell, you’re just being clever, and it’s a great way to earn extra cash because betting sites will keep offering you free bets to keep your custom, so you can just keep doing it and find cash coming your way.

Give it a try once and clear it all in your mind. Then, try it a few more times and watch the cash trickle in!

If you are still confused, I recommend signing up to Profit Accumulator. This website will guide you through the offer, and they also include all the offers you can get from betting companies.

Profit Accumulator has a free trial so you can try how it works with your first 2 bets (again, they are not real bets because you don’t risk any money). Then if you like it, you can sign up for the monthly package.

Rent Out Your Spare Room

If you have a spare room that you don’t use, you’re sitting on a potential goldmine!

How to make an extra 1000 a month UK-based can easily be achieved by choosing to rent your spare room out to (vetted) members of the public on any basis you want.

You can choose to rent it out on a lease, rent it out just for weekends, or you could say that you only want someone in it for the week.

If you live close to the sea or in a particularly picturesque part of the country, you will find that you have no problem with people visiting the area for holidays, wanting somewhere to stay.

You can list your house on social media sites, Airbnb, or even on Gumtree.

If you want to throw in some extra paid-for services, such as washing, meals, etc, you can do so and add more to your earning potential.

Remember, however, if you earn more than the threshold for this side hustle, you’ll have to declare your earnings to the taxman, but the current amount is £7500 per year, so if you earn under that amount you don’t have to pay any tax at all.

Check this amount yearly, as these rates do tend to fluctuate according to what the Government sets out for that particular tax year.

Freelancing in Your Spare Time To Make 1000 Pounds Fast

Do you have a particular skill that you could earn some cash from? We’re talking about things like a high typing speed, organizational skills, writing skills, etc.

You can freelance in your spare time and easily earn yourself an extra £1000 per month, working around your regular job. You choose your hours according to what you have going on in your social life, how you feel, etc, but obviously, the more you do, the more you earn.

In the past, when I started blogging, I used to do some web development jobs from Upwork (mainly helping businesses set up their websites).

Upwork is a very professional platform and I can tell because one of my best friends makes a living from it (and he is making 6 figures per year).

How about becoming a virtual assistant?

Basically you can get paid to play on Pinterest; create pins, write pin descriptions, schedule pins, and apply to group boards.

In this course, Gina and Kristin explain each of the areas to start a career as a Virtual Assistant. There is a waiting list you can join and they’ll notify you when it’s open for enrolment. But in the meantime, you can do their free course.

But if you can type fast enough…

How about transcription work?

You’ll need some basic equipment, such as a foot pedal and headphones on top of your computer, but you can pick those up pretty cheaply second hand.

If you love writing, you could pick up some content writing jobs and build up your portfolio. You never know, you might end up gaining that many clients that you can quit your regular job and go freelance all the time! This isn’t unheard of and its something many people have done in the past.

Of course, you need to make sure that this doesn’t encroach on your current job if you’re intending to keep it.

You still need to have a personal life and social time, so make sure that you keep a quality home and work-life balance at all times.

It can be very easy to become hooked on earning extra money, to the point where it’s all work, work, work, but draw a line somewhere and you can have both – fun times and extra cash in your bank account.

Start a Blog

If you love to write, and you’re an expert in a particular field, why not start a blog, build up your following and then start monetising it?

Yes, it takes time and it’s not going to happen overnight, but it’s a labor of love if you choose a subject you’re passionate about – like I am!

Maybe you love cookery, and in that case why not start a blog showcasing some of your favorite recipes? You could even expand out into vlogging and create your own cookery videos!

The biggest thing that puts people off blogging is how long it takes to establish a blog and really build up a following, but if you stick with it you will find that the rewards come your way.

If you don’t know how to start, you can join my free course below, plus I can do the setup for you completely free!

Monetising also comes with several options:

  • Blog advertising – in this blog I’m using Mediavine at the moment. However, I’ve used several ad networks before, like Adsense and Monumetric. You can choose the one that can best serve your audience.
  • Affiliate Marketing – it involves adding product links to your blog. Then when one of your followers click on the link and makes a purchase as a result, you’ll earn some commission. If you refer to the products you’ve used and are happy with, you will not only make money, but you’ll help to solve the problems your audience has.
If you already have a blog and want to learn more about Affiliate Marketing you can read my article How I tripled My Affiliate Income in 4 Months.
  • Selling your own product – you can create your own eBook or Course and start selling it for $57, $97, or even $197. Having a blog is one of the best ways to promote your course. In the Ebook Bestseller Bootcamp course, Ana from The She Approach will guide you through the whole process, from getting the course idea to promoting and making money from it.

There are many reasons to create a course, I’ll mention the ones that resonate the most with me.

  • Build trust & establish authority.
  • Grow your blog’s reach.
  • Help more people reaching their goals.
  • Make money online so that you can become a full-time blogger.

Selling your own eBook/course is a very useful piece of passive income because once the original product is created, you just keep selling the same thing and earning cash for it.

Even better, you can get other bloggers to promote your course via affiliate links, they will get a cut of the sale but you’ll get free promotion!

Another idea is to create regular printables to sell. It really depends upon your niche and how much time you have, but you have a major route for extra cash here.

Start a Pet Sitting Business

If you love animals, this is a great way to learn how to make 1000 pounds fast! You’ll spend time with lovable rogues and you’ll end up getting paid for it. You can work this around your regular job so that it doesn’t encroach on your working time or your leisure time either.

The options in this niche are quite plentiful as it’s not just about pet sitting. You can try dog boarding, perhaps dog sitting or dog walking, the same as above for cats, or you can look after other small animals.

It really depends on whether you’re a cat or dog person, or perhaps both!

It’s a good idea to register with a pet sitting website to find your clients as this means you’ll be able to reach out to more people than you would if you were simply going on word of mouth. It also shows that you’re credible, which pet owners are certainly going to look for.

You can then choose your hours and obviously the more hours you put in, the more cash you can earn. There is a huge scope for earning potential here, and if you find that you love spending time with cats and dogs, or other small animals, you could simply increase your hours and sit there reading a book or doing something else whilst your new furry friend is pottering around to their heart’s content!

This is also a money-making side hustle that can easily fit around a full-time job, and you can choose to charge whatever you want. Obviously you need to keep your rates competitive – pet owners aren’t made of money after all, although most will be happy to pay for quality service, so look to get some positive testimonials from other pet owners you’ve helped out in the past.

As you become more experienced, you can increase how much you charge and therefore earn more.

Buying And Selling On

This is actually called ‘reselling’ and it’s a great way to earn a little extra cash, especially if you love shopping!

You would look around charity shops, car boot sales, online on eBay or anywhere else you can pick up items cheaply, and then you would sell them on for a slightly higher price.

Obviously, the cheaper you can buy something for, the more profit you can make. It’s also a good idea to choose items which you know are going to sell well, so do some research into popular niches.

By doing reselling, you’re basically getting the rush of energy when you buy something, but you’re not actually spending money because you’re getting it back with a little profit on top.

The only downside is that reselling is quite time-consuming. You will usually sell your items on online auction sites, such as eBay, which means that you need to list it, wait for the listing to end, receive the money and then send it to whoever has bought it.

But if you have the time, it’s a great way to make extra cash, and YES, the scope for earning around £1000 a month is totally possible if you choose the right items to buy and sell on. You could also follow social media sites dedicated to reselling to pick up some tips and find some quality places to sell.

At home, we’ve done re-selling of wedding rings, and we got £600 profit from a single ring!

The other option is to sell your items on Amazon. Yes, Amazon will take a small cut but you don’t have to deal with the sending on because Amazon stores your items for you and does all the delivering work – far easier and less work!

Other ways to make an extra £1000 a month:

These are just a few ways you can look to earn at least an extra £1000 per month – every month! Yes, it requires a little extra work, but I hope you find any of these ideas interesting for you.
