The World Economic Forum 2025: Incoming President Trump is Expected at WEF 2025 Next Week. What Does World Economic Forum Mean For Crypto?
Ah, it’s that time of year again – the World Economic Forum 2025 – where billionaires preach austerity, and once a year, Davos, Switzerland becomes the ultimate cosplay of saving the world.
As Plato once said, “The punishment which the wise suffer who refuse to participate in the government is to live under the government of worse men.”
This year’s 47th president, Donald Trump, is slated to speak at the next World Economic Forum shortly after his Jan. 20 inauguration.
Here are three ideas WEF founders Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, Yuval Noah Harari, and other billionaires have come up with over the years, all pulled directly from their speeches or the official WEF website.
1. China Is A ‘Role Model’
I don’t believe every negative story that comes my way about China, as the US government is Orwellian in its own way.
That said, when you recently had thousands of Chinese citizens marching in the streets, smashing COVID-19 barriers, and shouting, “We are not slaves! We are citizens!” you probably should not be saying it’s a model for many nations, as Klaus Schwab just did.

China has an effortless 9 out of a potential 100 points on the International Freedom Index. Freedom is fubar there.
As the NYT reported Thursday in a story titled Breach of the Big Silence: Protests Stretch China’s Censorship to Its Limits: ‘The sheer amount of footage speaks to the deep well of anger inside China against the country’s exceptionally stringent Covid policies that have affected hundreds of millions of people…”
2. WEF Says a Good Life Doesn’t Have to be Happy, or Even Meaningful
Recently, the WEF promoted a new paper published in the American Psychological Association’s Psychological Review, suggesting how to live a good life. Yes, the good life… have you heard? It isn’t focused on happiness or purpose but rather a life that’s “psychologically rich.”
What is a psychologically rich life?
It’s characterized by “interesting experiences in which profound changes in perspective accompany novelty and/or complexity.”
All of this is subliminal messaging for a life where meaning, purpose, money, and joy are not priorities. Meaning is what the rich, bored WEF billionaires say it is.
3. Hate Speech Determined by AI
The WEF wants to end hate speech by unleashing an AI system that will sift through conversations using context and sentiment to determine what hate speech is.
Miraculously, it will even be able to stop hate speech before it’s published, like the pre-crime in “Minority Report” or the “thought police” in 1984.
Here’s the thing: hate speech is free speech so long as it’s not a direct call for violence.
It’s an opinion. Simple as.
Bitcoin is free speech; Trump ran on free speech. What happens when the WEF changes its opinion about both?
It sounds good to say, “I’m against hate speech,” — but the very definition of hate speech is nebulous and broad. It’s the slippery slope of censorship.
Final Thought on World Economic Forum 2025
Speaking as a middle-class plebeian — our true enemy is the plutocrats who use their power and influence to control us, manipulate us, and deny our basic rights for their own gain.
If we don’t stand up and fight against these bigger forces, we’ll be left with nothing but crumbs.
