M B Patil, Minister for Large and Medium Industries, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Germany-based Krones to set up a manufacturing facility at the Vemagal Industrial Park Phase 2, in Kolar.
In addition to this facility, discussions were held with Krones’ suppliers to encourage ancillary investments in Karnataka, enhancing the state’s industrial ecosystem.
The Germany roadshow is part of Karnataka’s global outreach to attract investments and partnerships in the lead-up to Invest Karnataka 2025, the state’s flagship Global Investors Meet.

As part of the delegation’s visit to Krones’ headquarters in Neutraubling, the company’s leadership, including its CEO, provided an overview of their operations and showcased its manufacturing capabilities. The MoU ensures expedited operationalisation of Krones’ facility, with the Government of Karnataka assuring support for the setup.
Krones also emphasised the advantages of Karnataka, including its infrastructure and pro-business environment, which align with their long-term growth strategy.
