Microsoft Chief Executive Satya Nadella has said that the US company would partner with the State government in all its initiatives and continue to invest in the State.
He said the State government’s efforts to promote skills and develop infrastructure would help Hyderabad position among the top 50 cities in the world, creating economic growth.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, accompanied by IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, called on Nadella in Hyderabad on Monday.
The Chief Minister explained to Nadella about his plans to develop infrastructure, Future City, and the establishment of new manufacturing clusters. He also explained to him about the Young India Skills University, which is aimed at equipping the youth with industry-ready skills.
“Microsoft is one of the earliest technology companies in Hyderabad and has grown to a strength of 10,000 over the years. It has also invested in data centre capacity of 600 MW in the State,” a CMO statement said.
