MS Dhoni & Sakshi Singh teams with Garnier Black Naturals in new trust campaign

Cricketing legend MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni have partnered with Garnier Black Naturals for a new advertising campaign launched today, March 4, 2025. The campaign positions the hair color brand as “the new symbol of trust,” playing on Dhoni’s reputation for making reliable decisions during his cricket career.

The television commercial features the couple in a playful exchange about hair coloring, culminating with a reference to Dhoni’s famous T-gesture used for Decision Review System (DRS) challenges. The campaign rebrands this gesture as a symbol of trust in hair coloring products.

“Garnier has been a trusted brand for hair color for many years,” said MS Dhoni in a statement. “This campaign gives us the opportunity to appear onscreen together after a long time.”

The 360-degree marketing initiative went live in late February across traditional, digital, and out-of-home channels. Ajay Simha, General Manager at Garnier, described the partnership as a “strategic fit” with the couple who represent “a benchmark of trust, both on and off the field.”

Garnier Black Naturals is marketed as “India’s most trusted hair color brand” and offers five different shades. The brand is part of Garnier’s larger portfolio, which includes Color Naturals and Shampoo Color product lines.
