Not accidental, but quintessential PM: Sibal on Manmohan Singh

Manmohan Singh was “not accidental” but was “quintessential Prime Minister”, who guided India through 10 turbulent coalition years and ensured a global high seat for the country by single-handedly standing up for the Indo – US Civil Nuclear Deal, former Union and the former PM’s Cabinet colleague, Kapil Sibal, said.

Taking to X, Sibal wrote: “Few human beings have humility as an endearing trait having  reached the pinnacle of power. The India story of economic growth began with the economic reforms he ushered in 1991.  Not “accidental” but was the “quintessential” Prime Minister.”
