Unable to visit Maha Kumbh 2025 for the holy dip at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj? A host of Ecom players are promising to deliver the Holy water and Holy sand from the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganges, the Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswat, at your door steps.
The Maha Kumbh will start on January 13 with Paush Purnima Snan and end on February 26 with Maha Shivratri. Nearly 50 crore devotees are expected to visit to take a holy dip at the Sangam.
Sri Mandir, a devotional app, has introduced an innovative Triveni Sangam Jal delivery service to bring the sanctity of the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers to devotees’ homes. The primary aim is to encourage everyone to experience the transformative power of the Maha Kumbh in person, said Prashant Sachan, Founder of Sri Mandir.
The Triveni Sangam Jal delivery service offers water sourced directly from the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj. This water will be delivered pan-India within 7-10 business days.
Trusted procurer
How can devotees be sure the waters are truly from the Sangam? The company assures that the process involves a trusted procurer collecting the water from the Triveni Sangam, and sealing it with reverence to ensure the sanctity of each drop before it reaches the hands of the devoted.
“This initiative represents our mission to bridge the gap between devotees and the divine, ensuring that faith and devotion rise above physical boundaries” said Sachan.
Sri Mandir offers two variants of the Triveni Sangam Jal: 100 ml and 200 ml.
“This is the first-ever initiative to deliver sacred Ganga Jal to devotees nationwide, and with 15,000 bottles already ordered, we are on our way to achieving our target of 40,000–50,000 bottles during the period of Mahakumbh 2025,” said Sachan. “We have an association with VedAshram Trust as Official Online Platform for Mahakumbh Mela 2025. So everything is authentic,” he added.
There are other players too offering delivery online. For instance, Mahakumbh.com for ₹999 has a prasad box containing various items, including Ganga jal and Rudraksha Dana.
Kumbhprasadam.com for ₹1,100 offers various items, including Ganga Jal and Mahakumbh sand collected at the Sangam and Hanuman sculpture.
Meanwhile, agarbatti brand ITC Mangaldeep, is doing a digital innovation through an Augmented Reality experience that allows devotees to perform the Shahi Snaan (holy dip) and Aarti virtually.
