The developers of the controversial altcoin Pi Coin (PI), which has been quite popular on social media platforms in recent days, announced in their latest statement that they have updated some deadlines.

According to the official statement, the deadline for KYC (know your customer) and mainnet migration for Pi Coin has been extended to 11:00 on March 14, 2025, Turkey time (UTC+3). The new date also coincides with the sixth anniversary of the official launch of the project.

The reason for the extension was stated as making way for more users by allowing users to check their own balances and switch to mainnet.

Pi Coin developers announced that the deadline in question has been extended for the last time and stated that it is imperative to take the necessary actions to avoid losing past mobile balances.

The developers also issued a warning regarding the action to be taken:

“If you fail to complete KYC or Mainnet migration within the Cooling Off Period, you risk losing most of your Mobile Balance (excluding Pi mined within 6 months prior to migration).”

There are various claims about Pi Coin, a controversial cryptocurrency, that it is a pyramid scheme and that this coin can be high-risk.
