Qualcomm Technologies and MapmyIndia announced a strategic collaboration today to develop indigenous automotive connectivity solutions, supporting India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. The partnership aims to create affordable telematics solutions for both four-wheeler and two-wheeler segments in the domestic and global markets.
The shares of C.E. Info Systems Limited were trading at ₹1,651.80 up by ₹1.20 or 0.07 per cent on the NSE today at 12.27 pm.
MapmyIndia will utilize Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Auto Connectivity Platform to develop telematics solutions specifically designed for Indian automakers. The collaboration will focus on bringing high-quality connectivity features to mid-tier and low-tier vehicles, making advanced automotive technology more accessible to the mass market.

The partnership will also integrate Snapdragon Car-to-Cloud Services with MapmyIndia’s MAPPLS automotive services to create a software-defined vehicle framework. This integration will enable device and cloud services management through a single platform with a common interface for vehicles using Snapdragon Digital Chassis solutions.
MapmyIndia’s CMD and Founder Rakesh Verma emphasised that the collaboration would democratize access to features previously available only in premium vehicles. Qualcomm India’s Senior Vice President and President Savi Soin noted that the partnership would help automakers accelerate time to market while reducing costs.
