The Board of Directors of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has approved the appointment of Sanjay V. Bhandarkar as Additional Director and non-executive, Independent Director of the company for 5 years commencing from March 4, 2025 to March 3, 2030.

This appointment, based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, is subject to approval of the shareholders of the company.

Currently, Bhandarkar is an independent non-executive Director on the boards of three listed companies – The Tata Power Company Limited, HDFC Asset Management Company Limited and Chemplast Sanmar Limited; one unlisted company; Tata Projects Limited and on the board of the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund Limited as a shareholder nominee.
