SBI conducts over 126 camps on financial literacy across Karnataka

The State Bank of India (SBI) has conducted the highest number of financial literacy camps across Karnataka, organising over 126 camps in a single day.

Over 5,429 women from diverse backgrounds such as Self-Help Group (SHG) members, Anganwadi workers, agricultural workers, entrepreneurs, ASHA workers, students, and homemakers participated in the financial literacy camps that were set up by the SBI.

Commenting on this, Joohi Smita Sinha, Chief General Manager, SBI, said, “Empowering women financially is a catalyst for economic growth, fostering stronger households, thriving businesses and a more resilient economy. Financially empowered women are a strong pillar of Viksit Bharat, driving inclusive growth and national progress. As the nation’s most trusted financial institution, SBI will continue to champion initiatives that bridge the financial knowledge gap and create a more inclusive and financially secure future for all.”
