Scania India inaugurates cutting-edge training facility in Chandrapur in collaboration with PPS motors

Scania India, in collaboration with its dealer PPS Motors, has inaugurated an advanced Training Centre in Chandrapur. This significant development reflects Scania’s steadfast commitment to fostering technical expertise and enhancing operational efficiency in India through strategic investments in skill development. The centre features state-of-the-art simulated and hands-on training modules.

Located in Chandrapur, the facility is specifically designed to provide specialised training for service engineers, technicians, and drivers. It has cutting-edge driver training simulators that offer a realistic and immersive learning experience. Trainees are empowered to master advanced vehicle control systems, improve fuel efficiency, and adopt safer driving practices. Furthermore, the centre integrates innovative mining technologies and is staffed by two Technical Trainers and one Driver Trainer. This initiative reinforces Scania India’s dedication to expanding its footprint and capabilities in the country, Scania added in a press statement.

Speaking at the inauguration, Munhoz Silvio, MD, Scania India, said, “With this new training centre, we are taking a significant step toward empowering Indian industry by bridging the gap between advanced technology and operational expertise. By equipping engineers, technicians, and drivers with the skills they need, we aim to help our customers enhance safety, boost productivity, and achieve sustainable growth in their operations.”
