Telus targeted me with a special promotional plan as part of the carrier’s ongoing ‘Big Deal Days’ sale, though your mileage may vary with this offer.
The promo includes 200GB of data for $75 with auto-pay and when buying a new device. To set up the promotion, enter the code ‘4DaySale200’ and select the $80/200GB plan. You can add the $5 off with auto-pay after checking out.
This is similar to one of Telus’ in-market plans, a $75/200GB (with autopay) option limited to customers who bring their own device. However, similar to when you get the in-market $75/200GB plan, you need to select the $80/200GB plan and then add $5 off after checkout. So, this promo is the same as the in-market plan, but you can buy a new phone.
We discovered that this promotion only shows on my Chrome browser, but other MobileSyrup team members could get the deal by using the promo code.
This makes me suspect Telus could be tracking my visits to its site through cookies. I was on the site a lot last week, looking at several of their plans. Telus may be targeting me with this promo because it looked like I was shopping around for plans. It could also be because I was with Telus for a day last year, but that’s less likely, in my opinion.

We used the Pixel 9 to test this out
The plan says it’s “4 Days Only,” and the sale ends on Thursday, March 6.
