Servotech Power Systems Ltd has secured a strategic partnership with LESSzwei GmbH to develop 100 per cent solar-powered electric vehicle charging infrastructure for micromobility in Germany. The project, named “EnerMAAS,” has received grant financing from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) for a 2.7-year duration.
The shares of Servotech Power Systems Ltd were trading at ₹187.26. up by ₹4.90 or 2.69 per cent on the NSE today at 12:12 pm.
The initiative will create innovative street charging points (BIKE-Ports) that use AI-driven energy management systems to power electric bikes, scooters, and cargo bikes. Each charging station can simultaneously charge four two-wheel vehicles with a total output of 3.3 kW, utilising completely solar-generated power.
Under the agreement, Servotech will manufacture and supply the first 100 charging systems, with two stations to be deployed in each of 50 selected German cities. The company will handle manufacturing, while LESSzwei will develop the artificial intelligence and application components.
Raman Bhatia, Founder & Managing Director of Servotech Power Systems, highlighted the collaboration as a key step in accelerating sustainable energy solutions and expanding the company’s international presence. The project aims to revolutionize urban micromobility charging infrastructure by combining solar technology with advanced energy management solutions.
