Shreyas Media bags exclusive advertising rights for Maha Kumbh Mela

Shreyas Media (a division of Aadhyasree Infotainment) has bagged exclusive advertising rights for the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, which is scheduled to be held from January 13 to February 26, 2025, at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh.

It also secured rights for multiple other activities, including vending zones, amusement zones, and a food court at the world’s largest spiritual congregation.

“Companies are expected to spend ₹3,000 crore on branding and marketing during the 45-day Maha Kumbh, as brands see a massive consumption opportunity in the mega event held every 12 years,” a Shreyas Media executive said.

The Uttar Pradesh government is spending over ₹6,300 crore to ensure the smooth conduct of the spiritual event, which is expected to attract lakhs of visitors.

“The Kumbh Mela 2025 unites spirituality and commerce. We aim to offer brands an opportunity to connect with a vast and diverse audience,” G Srinivas Rao, Founder and Chairman, Shreyas Group, said.

The 19-year-old company has organised over 2,500 successful events and over 1,500 movie promotions. The company, which entered film production in 2011, has produced nine films so far.
