Tata Technologies partners with Telechips to develop ADAS solutions

Global engineering and product development digital services Tata Technologies has partnered with automotive semiconductor solutions company, Telechips. With this partnership, the companies look to develop solutions for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) platforms.

Commenting on the partnership, Warren Harris, CEO and Managing Director of Tata Technologies said, “The partnership will combine Telechips’ advanced semiconductor technology with our deep domain knowledge and expertise.”

Further, the collaboration will focus on co-developing a scalable software framework for ADAS and autonomous vehicle platforms, leveraging AI to enhance situational awareness and decision-making capabilities, said the company in a release.

Previously, Tata Technologies had partnered with Arm to develop automotive software and systems solutions for software-defined vehicles (SDVs).

The company reported a dip in profit-after-tax (PAT) by 2 per cent to ₹157.41 crore for the quarter that ended September 30, from ₹160.38 crore in Q2FY24. Total operating revenue was up 2.1 per cent at ₹1,296 crore year-on year (y-o-y). The net margin was at 12.1 per cent. The company added a net 175 employees during the quarter, increasing its total workforce to 12,680.

The shares closed at ₹881.85, up by 0.59 per cent on the BSE.
