Telangana Government to promote automobile industry: CM Revanth Reddy

Telangana Government is focussing on promoting automobile industry in a big way, chief minister A Revanth Reddy said.
 

Interacting with representatives of the CII at its national executive council meet here on Friday, Reddy said the State Government initiated measures to make Hyderabad a pollution-free city. and polluting vehicles are being shifted beyond the Outer Ring Road.

67 lakh women registered as the members of self-help groups in Telangana. The SHGs are setting up canteens in government offices. Encouraged women groups to establish 1000 MW Solar Power generation plants, he said.

Government ‘s main objective is to promote one crore women as “Crorepatis”. Special attention paid to the empowerment of rural women.

Focusing on promoting automobile sector in Telangana. Prepared plans to develop a road and rail line connectivity to Machilipatnam Port.

Requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to sanction a regional ring railway line. “We will set up Clusters on the lines of China. Constructing radial roads between Outer Ring Road and the Regional Ring Road” he said.

11 lakh engineering students are passing out every year from Telangana. Most of the students are under skilled. Upgrading the ITIs as ATCs by investing ₹2400 crores in collaboration with Tata Group, Reddy said.
