World Health Innovation Forum meet held in Visakhapatnam

World leaders, innovators, experts, and scientists gathered recently at the Med Tech Zone in Vizag for the World Health Innovation Forum, held at the Kalam Convention Centre.

The event opened with a plenary session led by Dr. Jitendra Sharma, MD & Founder CEO of AMTZ, alongside global health leaders such as Dr. Tom Judd from the Global Clinical Engineering Alliance (GCEA), Ms. Millicent Alloh from Rice 360, and Dr. Rob Abbott, CEO of ISPOR.

A Med Tech expo, inaugurated by dignitaries, showcased medical technologies and digital health solutions. Over 200 exhibitors, including leading startups and global innovators, presented advancements aimed at improving healthcare accessibility and equity worldwide.

The forum served as a key platform for fostering collaborations among academia, industry, and policymakers. Representatives from the World Health Organization, World Trade Centre, ICMR, PATH, and hundreds of private organisations participated to discuss strategies for addressing global health challenges.

Significant outcomes included agreements on investments, certifications, and joint ventures, signalling a promising future for healthcare innovation and delivery.
