The shares of Zen Technologies Limited were trading at ₹2,520.80 up by ₹51.95 or 2.10 per cent on the NSE today at 11.11 am.
Hyderabad-based defence training solutions provider Zen Technologies Limited had been granted an Indian patent for its “T-72 Containerized Crew Gunnery Simulator System.” The patent, awarded on January 8, 2025, marks the company’s eleventh patent for the fiscal year 2024-25.
The newly patented system is designed to train T-72 tank commanders and gunners through an immersive simulation platform that replicates battlefield conditions. Its containerised design enables quick deployment and localised training capabilities, featuring a motion platform to simulate battlefield dynamics.

The simulator focuses on critical operations including target acquisition, ammunition selection, and firing procedures. The system aims to provide cost-effective training solutions while supporting both individual and crew integration exercises.
Zen Technologies, with over three decades of experience in combat training solutions, operates a dedicated R&D facility in Hyderabad recognised by India’s Ministry of Science and Technology. The company has filed for more than 155 patents to date and has delivered over 1,000 training systems worldwide. The firm specialises in defence training and anti-drone solutions, developing customised programmes aligned with various military requirements, including those of the US Army and Department of Defense.
